Only Her Body
How do you differ between who you are and who you are in the mirror?
A dancer struggles with how to present her inner self to the audience. Does she show a composed version of her performance, delicate and measured? Or does she allow her true colours to shine, displaying an unshackled depiction of her being?
The film explores the multi-faceted nature of individuality, but how we feel we must restrain ourselves in order to present our 'best' self to the world.
The project was developed and produced with University of Toronto Architecture student Kylie Clark, for submission to the Architecture Faculty's experimental programme with the theme 'Form and Presentation'.
