Seavacuee
I worked as Director of Photography for Duncan Cowles' documentary project Seavacuee. The project took Duncan and I to Falmouth, England to interview his Grandmother about a traumatic event she experienced during World War 2.
The film's intimate narrative weaves together the distant past of an old soul and her present reconnection with her Grandson. It was a humbling and fascinating film to have been a part of.
Duncan's Synopsis:
'My Grandma was eleven when a boat taking her to Canada was torpedoed by a German Submarine. Now, 72 years later my Grandma agrees to talk about it one last time.'
